Josh Womack and Prentice Redman Bat Tricks.

Sebastien Boucher, who has played for the Tides part of this year and last year, does this neat trick during warmups where he takes a swing, but lets go of the bat, and the bats spins in mid air before he catches it and finishes the swing. It’s the craziest thing ever. What Derek found out though, is that Sebatien isn’t the one who started this, it was one of his former teammates, Josh Womack. Well tonight we went down to Zebulon and ran into Josh Womack and he was cool enough to let me take a video of him doing it with my digital camera. An added bonus was when Prentice Redman, a former Tide, started doing his own trick. It’s not quite Josh’s bat spin, but it’s pretty great too.

Probably the best baseball shot(s) you’ve taken since I’ve known you. Josh was the man!
