It's five in the morning and I can't sleep. Did I mention that I finished Chuck Palahniuk's Rant? Pretty damn good, a really interesting choice of how to present his story. I guess maybe he's not into the straight-up, conventional novel style anymore. It's sort of odd that it turned into a science fiction book around page 200 or so. Still good, just not where you expect an oral biography of the patient zero for the rabies pandemic to go. I saw Disturbia; I hadn't really intended on seeing it, but sometimes I just want to see a movie and this fit into the time frame and theater selection that I alotted for. I was really surprised cause it was actually an enjoyable movie. Shia LeBouf has a really nice career ahead of him and Carrie-Anne Moss is just plain hot. I don't care that she's like fourteen years older than I am, she's hot. We had a bit of a rehersal tonight for Speaking Japanese. Eric, Mike, and Emily ran some lines. Hopefully very soon they'll be able to do them without a script in front of them. It's funny cause people read things into the script and deliver lines in ways that I never thought of when I wrote it. It's not a bad thing, really the exact opposite; Eric delivered a few lines and I'm just rolling laughing because he saw something in them I didn't. We're getting pretty close to the shoot and some things aren't working out. It's pretty frustrating but I'm trying to remain calm. I believe in this movie, and I think that if I stay calm and relax that feeling will rub off. Here's a picture of me and Justin Jones just for the hell of it. He plays for the Nationals in the Minor Leauges. He's also a Virginia Beach native who went to high school with my sister. He's also a really nice kid who has freaking huge hands.
