I wish I could read signals.  Like, is asking to borrow my notes just asking to borrow my notes, or is it something else?  And asking me to dial your number to check if your phone is disconnected or not-it is-is that an emperical way of finding that information, or is it a sly way of giving me your number?  And is laughing and touching my arm flirtatious or simply a sign of an open, easy nature?  I hate all the surreptitiousness involved in male-female relationships.  It would be great if we could just be honest about things and accepting of the reality.  Hey, I like you and no, I'm not into you in, you know, that way.  Whether this is the answer or not, you've got to admit, the way things are isn't working out great.
