Bah humbug!
"Happy Holidays". I don't see the problem. How hard is that to say? Isn't easier to just change one word, for just a month a year mind you, and prevent rubbing anyone the wrong way? Everyone makes a big fuss over "The War on Christmas", but let's be honest, how many people celebrate Christmas in any kind of Christian fashion. If you were doing that you probably wouldn't give or recieve gifts. You'd probably spent your time volunteering at shelters and for worthy causes.  Stop being high and mighty and worrying about people trying to take away your religious holiday and think about how religious it really is.  Personally, I think it's become so secularized anyway, independent of any outside forces, that it should be renamed and made available for everyone.  A year end holiday based on being nice and giving thanks would be great for everyone.  And, for the people who hate on Christmas: If it weren't for Christmas the economy in this country simply wouldn't work.  The last month and a half of the year that people spend buying presents makes the other ten and a half months where stores don't make profits possible.  Christmas, like it or not, makes our country possible.
