Everything you didn't want to know about CB's Friday.
Hmm, what did I do today? Do you even care? Well, if you keep reading it doesn't really matter cause you're going to hear about it anyway. My morning and early afternoon sucked cause, well, whatever. I dont' know, I had a good inner mood and bad outer mood. On the inside I was pretty Ok but for whatever reason I was definitely giving a "I swear if you talk to me I'm going to break your fucking face" look to the world. Who knows. So after class I went over to Katie's and worked on a presentation we have coming up on Wednesday. It was a productively unproductive afternoon as about an hour's worth of work took us five hours while we took random breaks to listen to songs, watch movie previews, look at Katie's family photos-the Millers are awesome-and try to remember a certain line from The Crow-it was "I feel like a little worm on a big fucking hook." Things got even less productive when John came home and put in Anchorman, which is still such a funny fucking movie, I don't care how many times I've seen it. Anyway, we got our work done and our presentation is going to kick ass, we're going to make all the groups that have gone before us completely ashamed of their presentations and all the ones after us completely nervous about following us. Cause that's how we roll. So after that I went and had dinner with my mom, we were going to go to El Rodeo but they were all packed up so we just walked over to Long John Silver's, something of a step down from El Rodeo, but damn I love hushpuppies. Seriously, if the world were made of hushpuppies...sorry I spaced out into a lovely dream there. After dinner I went out and saw 30 Days of Night which was just awesome. It was exactly what I expected, bare-bones plot and a lot of vicious, harsh action. They took a good bit of liberty from the comic book, but frankly the comic was really thin and needed the beefing up. The most important part was they kept the ending which I really think is cool. They did a good job of making the thing look like a comic too, some of the shots could have been pulled right out of a comic panel. I was pretty surprised to see Ben Foster in it, but not very surprised to see him playing a crazy guy again. That dude just knows what he's good at. So that was my day. And somewhere in there Travis called me and we scheduled time to work on some dropout stuff for a few hours tomorrow, cause yeah, we still do a lot of work-even if I sometimes don't talk about it-and we've definitely got a lot of coals in the fire.
