I saw Children of Men today. It was great. I'm a big fan of anything that starts with the premise of an apocalyptic future. I guess that premise is actually pretty easy to screw up-Tank Girl-but when done right, I love it. Clive Owen has quickly become one of my favorite actors. He doesn't try to do more or less than he's capable of. It's sad that that's refreshing. Also, Chiwetel Ejiofor is great too. He's alway pretty good-he was outstanding as the understated bad guy in Serenity. So go see Children of Men. It's gritty and harsh and I loved it.
