I have Fridays off this semester. It's pretty sweet. Because Monday is the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. day I get a four day weekend this weekend. Yet another reason to love Dr. King. I saw Alpha Dog today. It was Ok. I hate to say this, but it may have been too realistic. It was sort of slow paced and the dialogue was very natural, pretty much just how regular kids talk. Unfortunately that doesn't necessarily make for a compelling movie. You know where the movie is going to end up when you start so there isn't much tension there. Ben Foster is great playing the kidnapee's brother. I've liked him since he was a kid actor on Nickelodeon in a show called 'Flash Forward' with Jewell Staite. Gotta say, I should probably dislike Justin Timberlake just based on who he is, but he did a pretty good job. He's been great the two times he hosted Saturday Night Live. Apparently 'Dick in a Box' is a huge hit. At least according to Travis.
