The Influence is influencing me to tell you about their show at The Ted next week.

So, I don't know if I've mentioned this before, but The Influence are our homeboys. Yeah, they pretty much kick ass and we're planning on riding their coattails to the top. Travis is going to shoot a couple of videos for them-one for "The Following" and the other for...well, I don't really know which song, but one of theirs I'm sure. And the entire dropout productions crew is going to be out in full effect next Tuesday December the 4th at the 96X Winter Meltdown where the opening band will be, that's right, The Influence. We're going to film their performance as part of a DVD that we're going to produce for them. Travis is heading up to New York with them tomorrow to shoot some stuff from their show at The Knitting Factory-so if you're in New York Tomorrow, go check them out. Travis really kicked a little ass on getting in good with the band, mostly accomplished by making the lovely and talented JoAnna Lynne like him. Speaking of, she's playing a show at Scotty Quixx tomorrow night, Tuesday November the 27th. According to Ms. Lynne herself, she'll be going on around 11, so if you're a nightowl like myself, head on over and check her out-if you can't be in New York to see The Influence that is. Anyway, Travis, Jared, Matt, and myself went and saw The Influence rehearse tonight and it was pretty damn cool; it felt like I had my own private concernt. All I was thinking was, 'When these guys hit it big, I can say I hung out in their living room and they played just for me.' Not really the case, but I'll say it anyway. So if you don't have a ticket to the 96X Winter Meltdown, you should get one; it's probably gonna sell out. And if The Influence isn't enough for you-which it really should be-there are some other bands there, like Paramore-Hayley will you marry me?-Sum 41-fucking cool as shit guys-and Jimmy Eat World-still one of the best albums ever.

I started voting on the YouTube projects. It is very very clear why we didn't get picked for the top 20. Very clear.

Well, they know their audience. Personally I'd rather be good, but whatever.

Maybe you should watch a few of them. It's not about fart jokes and being childish. From what I've seen, it's about multiple scenes and... movement. Maybe I'm just easily impressed.

Honestly, I can't figure out which ones are in the contest. Also, write something yourself if you don't like it.<douche>
