I just now, just this second, saw a preview for a movie called Blades of Glory starring Napoleon Dynamite and Ron Burgundy (John Heder and Will Ferrell). It gets better: Coach (Craig T. Nelson) is actually playing their coach. Does it get better than that? Will Ferrell makes the kind of movies that, realistically speaking, none of us should watch. But he does such a great job-it's clear that he believes that what he is doing is funny-that you can't help but love his movies. One of my favorites of Ferrell is the movie Dick where he plays the straight man to Bruce McCullough. It's hard to get a laugh playing serious, but he's just that funny. And to people who don't like him: sour grapes, that's all I'm saying. Sour grapes.
