My weekend so far.
My bank finally sent me a new check card and while I was looking through the stuff they sent with it I saw where it told me my daily spending limit was $7,500. I though that was kind of optimistic of my bank. I've never been within two thousand dollars of even having $7,500 in my account, but maybe they're thinking good things are in my future. Even if they are I can't really see spending $7,500 in a day. The other night Eric, Travis, and I went to B-Mello's and hung out; he showed us his impressive HD DVD setup, but I was much more impressed with his old school Nintendo, the original one he had as a kid. Awesome. I got three quarters of the way through Mike Tyson's Punch Out before I lost. Not as impressive as it sounds, that's only six fights, but it was still fun. Later we hung out with Sibley and her new beaux (the 'x' is cause he's Cajun) and Ella and Brian at Hell's Kitchen. I'm not a bar guy, I never will be. I'm just not comfortable. And I always feel the need to apologize when I order a Diet Coke, like I'm disappointing the bartender by not ordering beer. Lot of talent at the bar that night though. Travis and I went and saw The Orphanage yesterday. I didn't really care for it. It was creepy as hell and scared the piss out of me (the last time I jumped I actually jumped out of my seat and yelled 'Fuck this movie', but I am a total wuss), but it just didn't end up being that great of a movie. I actually got an autograph yesterday, Virginia Beach's own David Winfree, who is an up and coming player for the Minnesota Twins. He seems like a really great guy so I'm definitely rooting for him now. Hopefully he'll be in Triple-A this year (if not in Minnesota) and he'll get to play here in Norfolk the first week of the season. I've been going through the tapes of our movie looking for bloopers and I've really noticed one thing, we say 'fuck' a lot. I mean a lot. Like way more than we probably should. Travis and I have been working on editing it and we're starting to see sizable chunks of it coming together. It's pretty neat. That's all. Transmission over.
