Tonight was a lot of fun. Travis and I went over to his cousin Dewayne's house-where we'll be shooting some of the scenes for Speaking Japanes, thanks DeWayne-and did a casting session/screen test with Emily Ludwig for the 'Jordan' character. Emily did a great job-she takes direction well-and I gave her the part. That's right, I gave it to her. I didn't confer with Travis. I didn't really need to cause he wanted her anyway, but dammit, let me feel powerful. I think she'll do a good job, she has a 'Jordan' quality about her. We were finishing up and she's like, "This is fun. I wanna keep going." We'll see if she's still saying that after four or five days of ten to eleven hours of shooting. Also, we happened to run into Eric before all this. He's really excited about being in the movie. And we're excited to have him. Even though Travis gets weird and ominous occasionally. Plus, Eric finally got the girl. Way to go.
