Micellaneous crap since I haven't posted a blog in almost two weeks.
So Travis is a son of a bitch. Not only has that lucky bastard got to go to New York-twice!-and Florida with our friends
The Influence, but now that punk-ass has spent this past week in fucking London-yeah, London, England-with
Shane Hines and The Trance, filming them, among other things, recording at Abbey Road. Yeah, Abbey Road, where The Beatles recorded. Unbelievable. And I'm here in Virginia Beach, sick and the stinking rain cancelled the first ODU baseball game of the year. Bastard. I did feel well enough last night to go see The Influence play at Scotty Quixx and it was a really great show. They seemed like they were having a good time. But, it's always a good time when Ken Horse shows up. Matt has all these ideas about filming the band and I'm trying to help figure out how to make some of them happen; one of the ideas was attaching a camera to his mic stand, so last night we took my old Hi-8 camera and duct taped it to the stand. A lot of it didn't look that great, mostly because we didn't account for the angle we needed to make get cool looking stuff-hey, that's why you try it out right?-but there were a few shots where he moved the stand with him that were fucking awesome looking. Put together with a bunch of other stuff that we're gonna figure out, Matt's on to something. And, on a final note, screw you Eric. This guy leaves a snarky comment on here about me not posting on here for a while and about how he hopes I haven't gotten bored and that the "fans" haven't gotten bored-why he scare-quoted fans I have no idea-and it's like dude, eat it. I've told him a bunch of times that if he wants to blog on here we can make it happen and he's always like, "Yeah, I don't really want to," and then he wants to give me crap when I get lax on the blogging? Screw you Eric. Screw you hard.
